LegitApp — Resident portal

A banking app,
for water and gas.

Consumption history, usage goals, and leak alerts already exist in LegitOS — on the web, and by email or SMS. LegitApp doesn't unlock anything new; it puts the exact same thing in a pocket instead of an inbox.

The gap it closes

Nothing here was hidden.
It just wasn't comfortable to check.

Every reading, every alert, every goal is already available today — through the LegitOS web platform, and through email or SMS the building already receives. LegitApp puts the same thing in the format people already reach for out of habit.

LegitOS — web, email & SMS

Everything's already there

Readings, alerts, goals, the full bill calculation — all of it lives in the platform today. Whatever a resident's contact details say, the building's responsible party always gets the email.

+ LegitApp

Same everything, less friction

The exact same access, in the one format people check without being asked to — no login to remember, no inbox to keep open.

Who it's for

Two people,
one feed.

LegitApp isn't a resident app with a manager mode bolted on afterward — the property manager gets the same real-time feed, just across every unit instead of one.

Residents

Everything they'd call the front desk to ask, already on their phone

Check this month against last month for water and gas, set a daily, weekly, or monthly goal on either one and get notified automatically before it's blown past, and get an alert — with the estimated cost and what to check — the same day a leak starts.

Property managers

Every unit, without opening a spreadsheet

One building or a portfolio of them — the same real-time feed, by client or by unit, so a resident's question about their bill is something you settle from your phone with the exact calculation in front of you.

Before and after

Where the resident finds out.

How it works

The read was always going to happen.
This is just where it goes next.

01 · Already happening

A meter is read

Whether it's a fixed LegitFix concentrator, a LegitMov pass, or another integration feeding LegitOS, a reading arrives the way it already does today.

02 · Computed

LegitOS applies the rules

Consumption, anomaly detection, and progress against any usage goal are calculated the moment the reading lands — the same engine that drives billing.

03 · Delivered

LegitApp puts it on the phone

The resident or property manager sees it — a chart, a bill breakdown, a goal getting close to its limit, or a leak alert — without logging into anything else.

What it covers

Same app, two different jobs.

Leak detected at midnight, resolved before noon

3 meters · zero site visits

The anomaly was flagged hours after it started — with no one watching a dashboard. This kind of alert names the network, the flow rate, and the unit, estimates what it's already cost, projects what it'll cost per month if it isn't fixed, and points to what to check first.

Common questions

Straight answers.

How do usage goals actually work?
A resident or property manager sets a daily, weekly, or monthly target for water or gas — the same idea as a spending limit on a banking app. LegitOS tracks it automatically against live consumption and sends an alert — by app, email, or SMS — before the target is exceeded.
Is LegitApp the only way to get this data?
No. Readings, alerts, goals, and the full bill breakdown are already available through the LegitOS web platform, and alerts already go out by email or SMS regardless of whether anyone has the app installed.
What does a leak alert actually tell you?
Which network (cold water, hot water, or gas), which unit, which meter, and when it started — plus what it's already cost and what it'll cost per month if it isn't fixed.
Who actually contracts LegitApp — the resident or the building?
The building. LegitOS is licensed to the property through its legal responsible party, typically the property manager. LegitApp comes with that license; residents get access as part of it.
Do residents need a separate account?
No. LegitApp uses the same unit credentials LegitOS already issues — there's no second signup.
Does this replace the property manager's LegitOS dashboard?
No. It's the same data, packaged for a phone instead of a desktop — the web platform isn't going anywhere.
Does it matter whether the building runs LegitFix or LegitMov?
No. LegitApp reads from LegitOS, not from the hardware directly — any reading that reaches the platform shows up here.
Is there a cost on top of LegitOS?
Included with LegitOS — no separate license.
Which languages does it support?
Written natively in English. From there, AI-assisted translation covers whatever language a deployment needs — Portuguese today, any other language on request.
